Installation
Download the plugin
Download divi-duplicate-post.zip from your DiviPerfect account or the Elegant Themes Marketplace.
Upload to WordPress
In your WordPress admin, navigate to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin. Click Choose File, select the zip you downloaded, then click Install Now
Activate the plugin
Once the upload completes, click Activate Plugin. The plugin is now active and running on your site with sensible defaults.
Open the settings panel
Go to DiviPerfect → Duplicate Post in your WordPress admin menu. To choose which post types to enable, set a title prefix, and configure other options.
Installation
From the post list
Go to Pages or Posts in your WordPress admin. Hover over any item and you'll see a Duplicate link appear in the row actions alongside Edit, Quick Edit and Trash.
Click Duplicate — the plugin instantly creates a copy and either opens it in the editor or returns you to the list, depending on your settings.
From the editor
When editing a post or page, a Duplicate button appears in the WordPress admin bar at the top of the screen. Click it to duplicate the current post without leaving the editor.
*Tip: The duplicate is created as a Draft by default so it won't go live until you're ready to publish. You can change this default in Settings.

All settings live under DiviPerfect → Duplicate Post in your WordPress admin.
Choose which post types show the Duplicate link. By default, posts and pages are enabled. Tick any additional post types registered on your site — including WooCommerce products and custom post types.

Does it copy Divi 5 builder layouts?
Yes — this is the plugin's main strength. Divi 5 stores all layout data in post meta, and Divi Duplicate Post copies all meta exactly as stored, preserving every module, section, style and setting.
Will it work with WooCommerce products?
Yes. Enable the WooCommerce product post type in Settings and the Duplicate link will appear on all your products. All product meta including price, stock, and attributes will be copied.
The duplicated page looks broken / shows raw code
This means the Divi builder data wasn't copied correctly — usually caused by an older version of the plugin. Update to the latest version and try again. The current version writes builder data directly to the database to avoid any sanitisation issues.
Can I duplicate to a different post type?
No — the duplicate is always created as the same post type as the original. For example, duplicating a page creates another page.
Who can use the Duplicate link?
Only users with the edit_posts capability. Administrators and editors can duplicate. Authors can duplicate their own posts. Subscribers cannot.
Does it work with Divi 4?
Yes. The plugin works with both Divi 4 and Divi 5.
